Had Eno got into a different carriage on a Tube train ine day, he wouldn't have bumped into ex college colleague Andy Mackay and would never have been in Roxy Music.

Loved this, Steve!

There's also the story of Keith Richards and Mick Jagger meeting on a train platform on their way to school because Mick was carrying records and Keith a guitar. A moment leading to 64 years of iconic music and entertainment.

And there was that geezer (can't remember his name) who discovered Manchester legends The Creature Comfort in the late 1980's; the same chap who also put The Yardbirds on (when he was 17).

The Malcolm McClaren A & R man, was David Fishel. He's a friend of mine. The full story involves, a dry cleaners, a rastarfarian Guinness drinking, "sacrament" smoking, bloke who pressed trousers for a living, and other characters.
