OK, forget about Sabbath turning away Michael Bolton for the "role of Ozzy" in the "stage musical"! What the hell is Bolton doing thinking A) he might be right for the "part" and/or B) people would take him seriously and/or C) they might actually say 'yes'?!?
BTW, Bolton's debut self-titled album on RCA in 1975 was called Michael Bolotin, the name he went with starting out....his real name. By album #2, in '76, I'm guessing somebody told him to keep the second "o," but lose his "i" (oh, but retain his sight)....hence, Bolton!
